This weekend Valley Speedway will have around 20 of our race teams in the World of Wheels in Kansas City. This is the 7th year Valley Speedway and teams that race at Valley Speedway have got together to promote racing, track sponsors, and race team sponsors. This is a great opportunity for teams to promote their sponsors to a gear head crowd that enjoys anything with a motor. Come check us out Feb 10,11,12 at Bartle Hall in Kansas City Mo.

Valley Speedway is ready to begin the 2017 racing season with test and tunes March 11,18, and 25. Test and tunes will start at noon and continue until 6. This is a great time to shake down your car prior to racing season and get some seat time. Only 1 car on the track at a time for around 8 laps will give you a chance to work on set up without traffic. Don't forget Valley Speedway test and tune Saturday March 18th noon until 5. Tech guys will be there from noon until 2 to pre tech and weigh if needed. We will have the transponders available for rent also. It looks like a great day for some testing. Cost will be $40 for Valley Speedway registered cars and $60 for unregistered cars no pit passes so you can bring your entire team. We will be selling race fuel and methanol if needed. Valley Speedway will have our Casey's 50 lap Valley Powri Outlaw Sprint special Saturday June 9th. $1,000 to win and $150 to start. We will run the first 25 laps then a competition yellow will come out and the cars will stop on the track. Teams will be allowed on the track to make adjustment, add fuel, and the drivers will be allowed to exit the cars to help. Valley Speedway and Joslin's Jewelry will be celebrating Fathers day at our Colonel John Helm memorial race June 16th. The Helm race car number is number 12 and we will be giving all drivers that enter a extra $12 in memory of the Colonel. All Dad's will get a ticket when they enter and be eligible to win one of several wrist watches from our friend Gary Joslin from Joslin's Jewelery.

Valley Speedway will have a fireworks display after the races on Jun30th. Bring the family out and have some fun. We will be racing Valley Powri Outlaw Sprints, Valley Powri Outlaw Midgets, B Mods, E Mods, Pure Stocks, and Dirt Demons. Pits open at 4pm, fan gates at 5pm, drivers meeting at 6pm, hot laps at 6:30pm, heat races 7 pm. Fireworks will be after last feature Approximately 10pm.

The Annual “Bill Lawson Memorial“ at Valley Speedway! Bill Lawson, Open Wheel Driver during the 50's & 60's was the Father of Dan Lawson and Grandfather of Justin Lawson. He served in the Marines during WWII and in the Air Force as an Aircraft Mechanic during the Korean War. GRAIN VALLEY, MO (April 25, 2015) While early reports were positive, the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region will again have their 2015 season opener called off as rain has forced officials at Valley Speedway to pull the plug on events scheduled for Saturday, April 25.
